5/23 Look for specially marked boxes of Pillsbury Toaster Strudels. Get a $5 rebate when you buy 3 specially marked boxes and turn in the rebate codes. You can get your rebate by paypal or by mail. I saw these boxes at Staters today for $2.99 and at Albertsons for $3.99. The only flavors I saw with the rebate was Strawberry.
Look for the packages that have a $3.50 rebate form in them. The regular price is $3.99 at most stores so you should be able to get one for either .49c after rebate or free if you wait for a sale and/or use a coupon.
5/21 Target has Banana Boat sunscreen on sale for $6.49. There are $1 Target coupons on their site and you get a $5 Target gift card when you buy 2. I've heard there are some Banana Boat products that are even less than the $6.49. Get a start on protecting yourself from the summer sun and save some money, too.
5/21/12 Did you get your FREE McDonald's Cherry Berry Chiller drink coupon out of Sunday's Parade?
5/16 This week at Walgreens get a $5 rebate when you buy 2 containers of Enfamil or Enfagrow. If you choose to take your rebate in a Walgreens gift card, you will get an extra 10% added to your rebate.
5/16 Smart Balance is on sale at Albertsons this week for $1. Use the coupon shown from the 5/6 SS to get it FREE!
5/13 Get free RedBox movie rentals with the codes BREAKROOM and DVDONME. Limit one movie per code per credit card. Today we watched Courageous, an excellent godly movie.
5/6 There’s a code for $5 off your order of $5 or more at payless.com. If you have your items shipped to your local store you get free shipping. If you shop through ShopAtHome.com you'll also get 10% cash back. If you're new to ShopAtHome.com, you'll get $5 deposited into your account if you make a purchase within 30 days. I found socks for everyone in the family for $5 or less. If your family doesn't need them, there were some cute infant socks that would make a nice baby gift and cute women's socks that you could give Mom for Mother's Day. You could also get children's socks to put in your Operation Christmas Child boxes. Just think of the possibilities!

My goal with this website is to help us all save money any way we can. Most of us need to watch our finances closely. I know I'm getting laid off next month and that is causing me to scrutinize our spending. It is my hope that as a community here in the High Desert we can share our money saving tips.
I save a lot of my money using coupons, rebates and our stores' rewards program to save money on our groceries. I also take advantage of my credit cards' rewards programs and various website rewards programs. I will be sharing them all with you so you can see if they will work for you.
If you think you don't have time to match coupons to the sales, let me help. For the low price of $2 per month, I email my subscribers every week with a list of the items that are free or really cheap after coupons, rewards and rebates. I match up the sales with the current coupons, I tell you which insert the coupons are in and if there are coupons you can print, I tell you which site to print them from. All of the items in the picture at the top of the page were either free after rewards programs and coupons or they cost under .50c. Take a look at my Sample Shopping List to get an idea of the type of list I send out.
The great thing about using coupons is you get to decide how much time you want to spend on them. You can concentrate on just the items that are free each week, you can match up the coupons to the stores' sales each week or you can look for every deal you can find. You decide based on your personal needs and goals. Any money I can save on my groceries will give me money I can use somewhere else and I'm in favor of that.
Email me at sandystudebaker1@juno.com for a FREE two week trial and put trial in the subject line. I know I can save you more than the $2 subscription price in those two weeks. Try it and see for yourself!
